Indications canon MP258 printer damage :

- On a computer monitor appears warning " Ink absorber is full " , as shown below .

- Printer cartridges usually after power house / carriage just silent .

- Bliking indicator light ( for a blinking code to see the previous article click HERE )

Solution :

There are 2 steps to fix / reset the printer with symptoms as above .

The First Step

Enter into Service Mode .

Follow these steps:

1 . Make sure the printer is turned off , the power cord stuck in the printer .

2 . Press the STOP / RESET approximately 2 seconds ( not released )

3 . Press the power button ( not released )

So now both buttons ( resume and power ) are both still pressed .

4 . Remove the STOP / RESET ( still holding the power button )

5 . Press the reset button 2 times

6 . Then release both buttons ( resume and power together )

Wait a moment , if successful printer LCD panel will show zeros . But this has not been completed , follow to the next stage of the second step to reset canon MP258 printer .

Step Two

Reset use software resetter printer canon MP258

Follow these steps:

1 . Make sure the printer is connected to a computer with the right drivers .

2 . Prepare software resetter canon MP258 ,

3 . Do not forget to enter the 2 sheets of paper .

4 . Run the software , of course the software by clicking 2x . Apparitions appear as shown below .

5 . Press "Play " . Wait for the printer to print one sheet .

6 . Press " EEPROM Clear"

7 . Press " EEPROM " . Wait for the printer to print one sheet .

8 . Turn the printer off , then on again , if the printer has not succeeded Bliking again .
